MiChat Lite

MiChat Lite is a lightweight version of this instant messaging app for meeting new people and chatting with your loved ones. This app is very popular in Indonesia and other Asian countries. When you sign up, you can see which of your contacts also have the app and start talking to them.

You can also find people around you with the Nearby People feature. You can set up a distance radius of 50 or 100 meters or even go up to 1 kilometer if you want to cast a wider net. There are also lots of chat groups and rooms full of people who share your interests.
